Luna Print
Luna is the ancient Roman Goddess of The Moon. Luna is sister to Sol and together they rule the balance of day and night. Often compared to Selene (Greek Goddess of The Moon) she is often described as a beautiful woman with a crescent moon on her forehead. My depiction plays on typical descriptions in a modern folk style. As a part of the “Equinox” collection, this piece is symbolic of the coming of spring as the day and night reach equal length.
